How to combine the old with the new is a topic of daily discussion in design and art. Under different perspectives and different starting points, the combination of old and new will produce different design ideas and results. When I was investigating ancient buildings, I was deeply attracted by the decoration on the beams of ancient buildings, which recorded the daily life and beliefs of ancient people. Compared with the way we record our lives today, not only can we use electronic devices to record every moment of our lives, it can also be a dynamic segment. Therefore, I began to reflect on how to translate the characteristics of traditional elements and modern recording methods into space design.
